Speed of Discovery Live

With Discovery Live you can spend more time exploring questions and answers and less time negotiating traditional simulation processing steps. It provides real-time data on temperature distribution as you make 3-D model changes, or change input characteristics like heat flow and material type.
Simulate Rotating Bodies
Support for rotating walls and swirling inlets is included in this release. You can now more accurately account for symmetric, rotating objects such as fans and wheels, to better capture nearby pressures, temperatures and velocities.
When simulating an inlet with a rotating fan as its source, for example, you can specify not only a linear velocity but also an angular velocity. These and other Discovery Live improvements will help you mirror real-world conditions to make sure your simulation results are more meaningful.
ANSYS 19.2 includes new features and functionality that enable engineers to solve CFD problems with more accuracy than ever before, especially for phenomena that were too difficult or time-consuming to simulate using previous methods.
One major enhancement is the further automation between design iterations and simulations, which are even easier because of the addition of parametric studies. Now you can explore a large number of design possibilities by varying multiple geometric or simulation parameters.
