PHOENIX, AZ. – February 25, 2013– TriStar, Inc., the PLM Company®, announced on February 25, 2013 the promotion of Dwight Griffith to President. He replaces Patrick F. Maderia who was has served as President of TriStar since May 1999. “Dwight brings great leadership to our company, and knows how to get the best out of people; he will do a great job leading TriStar. I’m leaving the company in very good hands and I’m looking forward to the next chapter for myself and for TriStar,” said former President Pat Maderia.
We [the management team], along with Pat Maderia, have been discussing this transition for some time”, said Dwight Griffith.
TriStar most recently launched their newest PLM product developed by PTC, Inc. PDM Essentials, a product that empowers smaller organizations to effectively organize and manage their product content so they can improve design reuse, broaden access to product information across roles and ensure control over design versions and release processes.
We have been working hard in the marketplace introducing and pre-selling the PTC Windchill PDM Essentials product which Pat was very passionate about,” Griffith added. “Now that the release is over it is a good time for us to make the transition. Pat did a great job growing our market share and ensuring our leadership as a company in the PLM market place. We have big plans to grow our services business in this space and I will be working hard at making that happen. At the same time we have put a lot of focus on the SMB space, and are working closely with PTC to introduce more and more companies to PTC’s latest suite of design products, Creo 2.0”
